The Carter County Junior Livestock Show is an annual event that brings together youth
livestock exhibitors from across Carter County and presents an opportunity for these young
agriculturalists to exhibit their sheep, goat, swine and cattle projects. Livestock exhibition
in 4-H and FFA plays an integral part in fostering responsibility and preparing these young
leaders for the future and their careers, both in and outside of the agriculture industry.
The Carter County Junior Livestock Show is a nonprofit organization and event. The support
of donors ensures we are able to put on a successful event, as well as reward these exemplary
individuals for their hard work. The monetary awards received by these exhibitors for their
prize winning animals go towards their livestock projects for the next year, or in the case of
high school seniors, could provide financial assistance for their collegiate endeavors if they so
choose.
In an effort to encourage further fundraising initiatives, the Carter County Saddle & Sirloin
Committee was formed in 2016. As a committee, we were extremely excited to host our
newest fundraising venture, The Boots & Bowties Valentine’s Day Ball, in February 2017. In its
first year, the event raised over $30,000 to contribute to the Junior Livestock Show. In 2019,
the Saddle & Sirloin Committee assumed the responsibility of the primary fundraising arm for
the CCJLS. The 2025 Boots & Bowties Ball brought in just over $70,000!
This year, the 21+ event will be held February 14, 2026 at the Ardmore Convention Center.
Attendees will be treated to an evening of fun including a live country band, delicious steak
dinner and open bar. We will have a variety of both silent and live auction items donated by
area businesses and individuals, as well as some one-of-a-kind items built by the local FFA
chapters. All proceeds will go directly towards the 2026 Carter County Junior Livestock Show
to be held March2-6, 2025.
We have high hopes for this fundraising effort in its tenth year and its potential to grow in
the years to come. We invite you to join us as a sponsor of this exciting event! In addition to
supporting the agriculture youth of Carter County, a sponsorship is an excellent means of
exposure for your organization or business. Sponsorships also include your attendance at the
event, along with some added perks. Please see the attached page for a detailed description
of sponsorship levels.
We appreciate your consideration, and look forward to hearing from you soon!
